Nathan Weston

Owner & President

Nathan Weston was born and raised in Revelstoke, fourth generation. Construction wasn't a career pivot — it's what he's done his whole life, and it shows in how he runs a job.

He holds a Red Seal in Carpentry and an Applied Project Management Certificate from SAIT. He joined Straight Up Construction as a partner in 2016 and has run the company ever since, managing every project directly from design through to warranty.

In that time, Straight Up has completed more than 200 custom homes and commercial builds across Revelstoke and the surrounding region.

His trade background runs deep. Coming up through his apprenticeship, Nathan worked on some of Revelstoke's most significant builds — including Nelson Lodge at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the Best Western Plus Hotel, and Revelstoke Secondary School and Begbie View Elementary. That ground-level experience on large, complex projects shaped how he thinks about construction management today.

His approach is straightforward: get the details right before anything gets built, communicate honestly when things change, and don't let schedule pressure override doing it right. Clients tend to describe working with Straight Up as organized and predictable — which in construction matters more than most people expect until they've had the opposite experience.

Nathan has lived in Revelstoke long enough to know most of the people his projects affect. He's stayed involved in local business and community development not as a resume line, but because this is his town and he plans to keep building here.
